Dorit Alberstein, a vet by trade, has spent much of her career in the USA studying sustainable ranching techniques. For the past 2 decades, she has worked to bring these practices to British beef farming, while managing a herd of 1500 Aberdeen Angus cattle over 10,000 Acres of Salisbury Plain.

The aim of these innovative techniques is to reduce the requirement for grain feed and indoor wintering, thus increasing animal welfare and sustainability of the meat produced.
